see that's what I am talking about those would be prices to whine about ... then again not really.. Thank in part to some oil/gas refineries closing for maintance, repairs and just shutting down to increase prices i.e. profits..

I am sure some of us drink more in booze than our car does in gas :D and last time I checked that is not cheap.. I know first hand

If I drank as much in booze as the Focus did in gas dude I'd have died of liver failure years ago

Yeah I'll grant you that booze isn't cheap either ($50 for a 1.75L of Bacardi  ) but I don't drink that at the rate equivalent to my car drinking gas, far from it :P

$1.089 this AM, at the gas station. Probably will crack $1.10 Saturday :(

Sweet, sweet company vehicle/gas card!!!!

no kidding! imagine living in europe... but in europe, driving is a privelege, not a right. The North American culture of entitlement doesn't fit with the european way.
Most European centers have excellent public transit systems therefore there is no need for a car. I just noticed at lunch gas jumped up here to $1.12/$1.14 for 87

noticed I said jumped?
i have a feeling we'll see 1.25 by next friday...

1.25 x 60L = $ 75... or unhappy steve...
or a 64$ premium fill up if i still had the focus...

Thanks
it's my pleasure. It helps me feel needed and wanted.

A comment like that is fresh bait for someone like meford.
need a hug from my mom?

or should i stop by?
I'm paying $1,24/L for 92 right now and I am not complaining! Yes, gas is over double what it cost 10 years ago, and yes oil companies are screwing with prices to drive up profit, but I can't change it by crying about it. I can buy a bike, figure out solar power, or just try to be a bit more conservative and save money that way. I do feel for people with longer commutes though. I have a 20 minute drive to and from work so I've got it pretty easy.
