Ya i think that fits nicely. I guess it could be worse. Maybe they're making it uglier to make the Edge look more appealing.

I think they've just given up altogether and will rely on Mazda to do something better with the same platform.

What exactly did they do wrong? It's supposed to give small suv's a smaller look, yet mimic the looks of their larger brothers. Besides, it looks better than the current model imo... bolder looks to it, without making it look like a mini me monster truck, that would be :fag: I think.

The extra cladding doesn't help, but that front end just has nothing to make it stand out from anything else in the Ford Truck lineup.

It's the same problem I think, they ran into when they re-designed the '05 Focus, in a bid to have it mimic the 'corporate identity' (Ford Five Hundred) they lose out on what made the car/truck a styling sucess in the first place... the originality.

Without seeing it really close I can't say for sure but based on those pics I donno it doesn't look that bad. I kinda like the front end.

I'm sure it will be popular as a rental vehicle. That is all Ford makes isn't it?

Wheres the Gillette Mach 3 Front Grill Ford was going to incorperate on all the new vehicles?

I'm thinkig the Focus was one of the only truly originbal designs Ford ever has or will release.
