I prefer doing RAW because it allows me to correct a multitude of sins.
It's saved a few pictures in the past.
ie, I can go from this:
to this:
much easier than if it was in JPG.

haha... I'm slowly building up my equipment -- I don't have gels or reflectors yet. I need to get a diffuser too...
every hobby I take up seems to be a money pit. I just spent another boatload to buy a humidor this past weekend.

If you went to Cuba you need a humidor.
I had one but found it was a PITA to remember to keep it moistened. So I rented some space at a local cigar store for $15/month and they did all the work. I just dropped by and smoked.

renting space is a good idea..
I've added into my calendar when I need to do the maintenance steps.
Last year, I picked up a couple and did the ol' baggy trick. Figured this time, since I have a few Cohiba Maduros that it might be wise to spend a little and ensure my 'investment' survives more than a couple weeks.

Next time I go to Cuba, I'll be bringing back some Cubans and I'm not talking about cigars.

Anyways, as a cigar side-note, I was dealing with a tobacconist in Montreal (found him on eBay), got some Xicar products (humidor fluid, humidification pad (gel crystals) and a digital hygrometer) at a decent price, if you're interested PM me I'll give you a link for him. I have a Spanish cedar humidor I got from the Bombay Co a couple years back the Xicar system keeps it a steady 69-70%RH
