Clunk in the front passenger side, still?
Ok,
I've replaced both End-links with new Moog ones.
I've just replaced both Strut tower bearings with new KYB ones.
What the hell is still making this dam clunking noise?
There isn't any play what so ever in the the front end, so i don't know were else to look.
Anyone else go through all of this, if so what was your final problem/fix?
I'm ready to drop this thing off at Ford and tell them either fix it or its there focus.
Thanks
Shawn

Probably a long shot, but is there any chance your sway bar is hitting another suspension component ... had that happen to me ... my swaybar had shifted sideways just slightly and was being hit by IIRC the control arm.
I looked for that actually but I couldn't see any signs of it hitting.
I'm gonna put it back up on the hoist tomorrow and look again though.
Thanks

BTW - - in my case when the car was on the hoist the components didn't touch each other ... my mechanic saw the marks on the sway bar and put two and two together. Good luck.
Thanks Ken!
I'm gonna search every were possible for any sort of rubbing/hitting/etc...
Ball joints? Lower control arm bushings? Tie-rod ends?
What springs/struts are you running?

I've tested everything for any play and can't find anything that seems out of place.
I'm running Eibach springs and shocks.
the shocks are only about a year old but I noticed today that the passenger side is sitting lower then the drivers.
So I'm not thinking of buying some KYB shocks with adjustable dampening ;)
does this happene only when you turn your wheels or when you go over the bumps?
going straight or turning on any sort of little bump, crack, or dip in the road.
I put it up on the hoist today, and couldn't find anything wrong again.
So I'm gonna just buy some KYB AGX's for the front and get rid of the nearly new eibach's.
Can you replicate the noise when stationary, or only when moving?
Which Eibach springs? Prokit or Sportline? Could it be that the spring is popping out of the perch when the strut is fully extended? (just brainstorming here...)
It only makes the noise when the car is moving.
I'm running sportlines and Eibach Dampers.
