I'm going to do my brakes in the next month or so.. Need some information.
2003 SVT Focus
Stock brakes are not that great, especially when its wet, as it takes two quick presses to stop the car well. When its dry, its performance is excellent though.
I'm thinking of doing the TCE 12.2" kit w/ wilwood ndl (which need .8" clearance) or superlite calipers (which need 1.1" clearance).
Anyone do this before? Is there anything special I need to know about regarding clearance for my 17x7 stock 5 spoke svt wheel? (Stock brakes are 11.8" or so)
No custom machining or anything preferred, I'd like to keep the stock hubs, bearings, knuckle. Just a quick swap :)
