There seems to be some interest in the Speedhut Indiglo gauges, and because I’m also interested in this item I have been in touch with Speedhut to see what we could get in terms of a group buy.

Customize your Focus gauges at Speedhut dot com

Here’s what they’ve agreed to for a minimum order of 6 Focus indiglo gauges:

1. Change to KPH - $10 USD fee waived.
2. Change to 0 – ½ - 1 on fuel gauge - $10 USD fee waived.
3. Additional 10% off each order
4. Shipping per gauge (minimum 6 gauges): $5.00 USD ea (only if shipped together to my PO box in N.Falls NY)

Additional costs as follows:
1. $10 CAD to me for each gauge to pick up the order in NF, NY and bring back to GTA.
2. GST and PST might also be applied at the border, but not necessarily because more often than not, I’m not asked to “report” at the border – so in that case there would be no taxes.
3. Onward shipping in Canada if required.

Obviously if you would prefer to have your order delivered directly to you, then the $5.00 USD shipping charge and the $10 CAD fee would not apply, to be replaced by whatever the normal shipping and importation charges would be to your location.

Speedhut has given me an order code to include with each order to ensure the special pricing is applied and they have requested that the orders be placed at about the same time.

Count me in on this Group Buy – do we have 5 more with a serious interest?
Maybe.... but do I get it for $10 cheaper because i do not have kph?
Might be interested can u tell me a rough total, shipped to S4R2W8, if say there was no duty at the border.

No - in that case you're looking at the 10% discount only, the savings in shipping and the possible savings at the border.

But as long as you still live in Burlington if and when this happens, I'll drop yours off at your house on my way back.

Shipping to S4R from my place is 10.50 CAD or less.

These are custom gauges, so to get your total, go to their website and "build and price" your gauges (remember that the change to KPH is free, as is the change in the fuel gauge if you want that) ... get your gauge total then deduct 10% ... then add $5.00 USD for US shipping.

Multiply by 1.14 to get a rough CAD equivalent ... then add $10 for the pickup in NF and then add $10.50 for shipping to SR4.

If I get pulled over at the border you would also have to pay 15% for PST and GST; and there's no way to figure the odds on that, so best to plan for it and be pleasantly surprised if we don't get hit.
I'm in for this, letme go configure it and see the actual cost
How much would it be to get it installed... or should I say, how difficult is it to install it?

Is this the gauge that runs off a separate 12v source and has it's own lights and controller?

I've personally never installed one ... the website "recommends" professional installation and the FAQs are pretty light in terms of technical info. Perhaps someone who has installed one can provide some info.

I think so ... did you check out their website?
PM me the code to use and when everyone else is ordering. If we get more than 6 does it get cheaper?

Yes, I did check the site... the only reason I ask is because i'm wondering if it runs off the stock headlight/power switch, or a seperate source. I don't want to have it powered by a seperate controller alone.
I might be interested, but I'd like to see some pics of the night shots of the speedhut guages. Does anyone have any? I tried customizing, but didn't see anywhere to change to KPH, or the fuel guage???

Does this mean you don't want to be counted towards the six? I didn't ask about more than six because I figured it would be hard enough to get the half dozen.

TWO
Well with puppet's pic there, ZTW can u find out if there is any extra charge from speedhut for the one side instead of having text there to have the mph in smaller version. See if they waive it for the group buy deal :D

With the payment of the extra $10 USD (waived for this group buy) you have the option of KPH only, or KPH + the smaller MPH in the "inside" - if you go to their website and check out the FAQs, I think they address the available options there ... but they also confirmed this in their email.

Cool so it is still waived. Hmm now I'm really going to consider ordering this.
