Okay here's what I did. Backing into my parking space at the office as usual, thought I was a little closer to the right side pillar than usual but didn't think too much of it as I was in a hurry to get to work...
Next thing I hear is this wonderful scraping noise and I find that I managed to just ever so lightly graze the concrete pillar with my ride side rearview mirror, leaving a black mark on the white pillar and a light scuff mark on the mirror's housing at the edge.
Anything I can do to get rid of this?

it is scraped or gouged? if it's lite then you might get away with some sanding but it'll never look the same just less scuffed up. Not much you can do really this might give you an excuse to paint the mirrors? :)
neh for the time and money spent on fixing it would be a waste, just fork out a few bucks and buy a new one, they ain't hard to replace . I had to replace my passenger side mirror, not to hard .
I work in the business man...unfortunately all you can do is a band-aid fix...sand it a bit, prime/paint...etc...
It will never be 100% again due to the material...sorry man...If you are up in this area sometime..I can see what we can do at the shop but, I'd assume your stuck...

Gah I was afraid of that, and its so faint, the only reason I see it is because I know where I impacted (impact isn't even the right word, I mean it barely registers under my thumb when I go over it)
I'll see what my schedule is like in April for a day trip :P Maybe you can help with the paint chips that I seem to be picking up like a hooker picks up STD's :(
