K, i searched and did not find...
I have alot of wiring to do in the next few weeks, and want to remove my center console to run most of the wires under that.....
i know there are 2 screws under cupholders
one in the back and you have to remove the armrest...
question is, how do you get the shift and ebrake boot off..
thanks in advance
You don't take the shift and hand brake out...it just slip over them. You take out the screws and you jiggle the console out.
Pull the handbrake back as far as you can, remove the shift knob and it should just jiggle off.
^^ agreed
pull the ebrake to the EXTREME or it wont fit over. unscrew the shift knob and take the spring out, if the shift boot still wont come off try twisting the reverse lockout a bit, sometimes it gets caught in the reverse lockout mode.
I thought there were 3 bolts? but yeah under the cupholders are 2 screws then pull up, but watch out for the other plastic interior pieces, it is pressed up against one of them.
