This year Canadian Streetcar Nationals is going to be bigger than ever. Fatser cars, more classes, tons of Car show space! I would really like to see some Foci out this year. Jamie, Kevin, John, Anyone wanna hit the drag strip. Sorry Nik im not sure about whats going on with circuit racing as it is a Drag only event. Honestly other than the Pinks event this is the best Drag Event in Ontario. Great side by side drag racing with stupid fast race cars. Last year I was sitting in the stands almost all weekend and it kept me entertained all weekend long. Also for the family man its a great all ages event bring the kids and the wife along with you.

Car Show - Show n Shine

We would like to thank all those who came out last year to support the show and shine. We are looking forward to make 2009 bigger and better.

Friday $15.00 / Saturday $30.00 / Sunday $30.00 or weekend pass $60.00.

Saturday ONLY - Show starts at noon and awards to be handed out at 5:00 pm

Free with your day pass into the track. Watch drag racing from where your car is parked in the Show and Shine.

You car could be chosen for a Photo Shoot for a magazine.

Reserve your Club's Parking area with a minimum of 20 cars.

Any idea's on how to make this a bigger success please let us know.

A co-worker with a 10 sec GrandNational told me about this event this morning.....I will be makine an apearence :)

Esp. since if scheduling works out the car will be a wee bit lower than it is now ;)

Ordered up the Steeda springs today (Only springs that are AWD safe) will arrange install as soon as they arrive

Thanks for the Post John. For the other don't be scaried off by seeing best Ford because best Import in the past has changed to best Sport Compact.

There's also a MOPAR fest that day...damn i wanna go there too

I MIGHT be there entered in, but that same weekend is Drift Mania or whatever at Downsview Park (Battle of the Car Clubs)

Friday, August 14th

Gates open - noon
Tech opens - noon
Time Trials begin - 3:00 pm

Saturday, August 15th

Gates open - 8:00 am
Tech opens - 8:30 am
Time Trials begin - 10:00 am
1st round Qualifying - noon
2nd round Qualifying - 2 pm
3rd round Qualifying - 4 pm
Car Show Awards - 5 pm

Sunday, August 16th

Gates open - 9:00 am
JAMA Chapel service - 9:00 am
Tech opens - 10:00 am
Time Trials begin - 10:00 am
1st round Eliminations - noon

FINALS - 5 pm

Don't waste your time at battle of the car clubs. Represent the Ford at cayuga you and the otehr Ford's from outlaws should come down and have the others represent at botcc. Cover both shows. ;) Billy would be proud lol.

lol yeah im thinking about it cuz BOTCC is $65! Brutal! Plus its a 2day show so gas + hotel isnt included :(

Ill bring a couple Stangs with me and enter but I know I got no chance cuz last year there were some crazy stangs entered lol, but all in good fun

edit: If I do end up going, will be weird not seeing Andrew racing his car! Always looked forward to seeing that car there out of all others.

I'm gonna hope the springs are in by the time of this show but at this rate I dunno :(

You wanna lend me your tranny? As for stangs gettign all the love not true theres alot of younger pple that come out aswell and they love the focus. I even had some harcore old muscle guys looking under my hood last time out.

Well under your hood is amazing.

Heh, my car definately skews older than a Focus but I do get younger guys doing the double-take when they see under the hood (I think it's the Steeda intake that draws them first, the thing is massive :P)

Gonna call Dixie Ford next week to see the status of my springs order :huh:

my tranny would probably blow up also with your setup haha, and I agree with Scorch, just seeing the turbo behind the headlight makes you go WOAH i gotta go see this car

Ill be up there sunday all day and trying to get up there Saturday as early as possible but looks like ill be stuck doing some more reno work around the house.
