After attending this event I can only say if you're a Ford product other than a Mustang, you will get exactly jack & squat from the judges <_<

I realize DaSilva is a majpr sponsor of the thing, but you're not gonna encourage other makes to show up with this kind of thing happening...

You did, but I wanted to give them a fair shake myself as I had dealings with Joe when he was still in Scarborough and thought he was a stand up guy.

Why what happened with the car show?

Sucked badly. I was the only 4cyl Dan was the only Fusion, and 1 or 2 GM's and Chrysler's. I could have one a Stereo Trophy but I did see that catagory and the 50/50 draw was $350 and was one by the Maple Cruises Leader's Son lol.
No Pussy and no fun. And was a long as drive home for me. 3hrs back roads in traffic. The highway was shut down at Appleby Line.
Other than that it was ok and there was a wreck on the track too lol.

Basically unless your Ford product was a Mustang you were SOL.

They gave the same people multiple awards (Which doesn't sound that bad until you realize that it just pisses everyone else off with needless "stacking")

and as Scorcher000 pointed out, they let the organizers kid buy a raffle ticket. That's just stupid & then some <_<

Funny thing was, my car was parked next to Scorcher's and I honestly thought his would get more looks than mine.

lol red convertible Cobra R replica will take awards home all day. and since there was only one focus they can't really have a class for sport compacts. I totally disagree with letting the orgnaisers son win thats BS. Sorry if there were no bikini babes to pose with your car, Thats not what this event is about pple r incouraged to bring there kids and family along and well barley dressed chicks don't go well with the wives.

I'm just saying that they should have a "Ford - Other" class if all the Ford awards otherwise are going to the pony car :blink:

Personally I wasn't looking for bikini babes at this event (Besides which, not like they'd want to pose with my car, hell it was probably the car that their dad dropped them off @ the track in :lol:)
