Ok I mentioned before that I got some free product from Lakeshore Signs and Graphics. Well with the nice weather over the past couple day gave me the shance to finally get the eyelids installed. Some of you are going to say the colour doesn't match, but I think it looks good. And my opinion is the one that counts.

Other than the fact that eyelids are old and "past due" i guess they look alright.

it WOULD look wayyyyyyyy better with matching colors, but like you said....your opinion is the only one that matters!

do you have a better shot of it? can't really tell much from that view

I kinda like that look. Too bad they couldn't colour match your paint. Other then that its pretty sweet. Just becareful, my friend did the vinyl eyelid mod to his car and got nailed with a $160 fine for obstructing the headlight.

I like the shape and the style, but the fact that it's not the same color really bugs me. It looks like it's unfinished, like if you put on a bodykit that was still in primer rather than painting it.

I'm a sort of a perfectionist though, I couldnt stand having mismatched colored parts on my car.

Yeah, the colour isn't close but the vinyl was free. As I posted before I stopped into Lakeshore Signs and Graffic's to buy the vinyl and this was as close as they had, and he gave it to me for free. So for a first atempt I think I did very well.

Well the cuts look flawless, and that makes it better than most of the homemade eyelids i've seen. As for the colour, it doesn't ruin the car at all and I am a picky person when it comes to matching crap too, but that looks proper, just that it'd be better to match. Good work!

Thanks for the warning. I did not know i was the exception to the rule. I'll be all touchy and feely from now on. Serious!

It looks good...it would look even better with the same color of the car. But still...Good job!

I did that mod on my car too haha
Look up your paint code, then go to crapy tire buy the touch up paint in the little spray can and paint the vinyl eyelids.
It works!!!!


If you need more vinyl I have lots still left from my mod.

That is a great idea. I will do that. Thanks for the offer on the Vinyl. I do have some left over. I think I will try that. CTC here I come. LOL.
