So....
After letting my 2000 zetec ZX3 sit for a couple months it doesn't start.

I plugged in the new battery then turned the key and all the lights, bells, fuel pump, etc... work but no noise what so ever from the starter.

So I know It's getting power but I think the starter has seized from sitting so long.

anyone have any similar problems and if so what were they

yeah I need to jack the car up cause of were its sitting in the driveway, and give it a few good wacks

yeah...i'm always told that hitting the starter does something. Unfortunately for me, the 3 starter jobs I've had to do in my life never started after hitting with a hammer, always had to replace the starter motor. The starter is a PITA job on the focus zetec. just had to do it for the guy that bought my car.
