Almost looks like it was meant to have a filter there. Hmm maybe can find one better suited to fit it

The motomaster filter meant for the older focus' by the looks of it should fit by removing that second grate underneath that screen on ours... which is really glued on well, I was trying to pry it off and it seemed to be glued pretty damn good. Not impossible to get off though, if you're willing to go that extra mile.
