Anybody ever hear of them?
yeah the majority of "good" tires are directional.



I'll leave my response as short and vague as your question.
Directional tires are those that can only rotate in one direction. They are usually shaped in a V-pattern.

My Nokian winter tires are directional as are my Goodyear all-seasons.
