Hey guys... im looking intp getting a focus and I wanted to know how much trunk space there is in a ZX3. Like whats the L x W x H measurements. Also if you put down the rear seats whats the measurements there?
The reason i ask this is cause for my job, I sometiems have to transport a 6' ladder. I have a 94 2 dr Ford Escort right now and it fits when i fold down the rear seats and put the ladder diagonally.. whats the length difference between the focus and the escort? anybody know? thanks for the help..cheers B)
I know my ZX5 is about 42 cu. ft of room witht the seats down....as for H/W/L..I'm not sure exactly..

I have carried the 6ft ladder, 2X4's, 2X2's, garbage bins, AC units, with seats down you can carry anything and everything.
ohh forgot to mention also carried a chest freezer.

in a ZX3 you've carried all this?? if so, what did you have to do to fit the 6' ladder? obviously flip the seats down.. but what else?... was it difficult?
no it was just floding the seat down, not hard at all. Just to clerify i didnt carry all this at once. All were carried at diff times.
You can also fold the front seat down to the latter can fit better. I cant remember exactly what i did, but it wasnt anything hard, Nor did i have to remove any of the seats.

so just to clarify (because quite shocked at this fact) that a 6 FOOT ladder can fit in a Focus ZX3 just fine.. WITHOUT taking anything out AND with the hatch CLOSED...yes?
