Works now ;)
not a pick up guy, but it looks really nice
Nice colour.... Other than that, you can keep it.
yeah I thought it kinda looked like a Explourer Sport Trac, only in a 2 door version.
Not really impressed. Next!
I like it... I just don't like the fact Ford is upping the ante with it's size to compete with all those other companies and their ahem... "compact" pickups. There arent many true compacts anymore, the Ranger is imo, the only one left. I don't want to see Ford producing a V8 for one neither, unless it's similar to a limited production Thunderbolt like sport truck to give the sport compact crowd a run for their money... because a race Ranger would be more my taste than my current and past dream for I don't know how many years, the Lightning.
If it was a truly performance-oriented, SC'ed V6 or turbo'ed 4 cyl, I'd be impressed.
I've had a V8 Ranger. Great fun on straightaways, but the load of iron over the front axle makes handling... dicey.
In fact, if there was a turbo 4 Ranger, I'd pre-order. But it would have to match the old Ranger for wheelbase and interior... I don't need an Escalade-esque pickup.
Well what i'm saying, is the main engines used over the years (i'm not talking olden days with the 8vylinder's, when the Ranger was a smaller f-150) were the 4cyl's and 6cyl's. Two 6cyl's (3.0 and 4.0) and one 4cyl. I like the fact Ford gives options with their mid size engines... I had a 4.0 and damn, the torque was fun in that thing. :D
if its the new ranger its nice... but that better be the super cab i hate the little sissy door the reg cab f-150 has.... reg cab should have two doors, super cab and crew cab get 4.... thats all. engines 2.3, 4.0 sohc, 4.6 3V please. ditch the 2.3 for the 3.0 if the vehicle grows much more than the current model
since nobody likes embedding inline images:
looks nice
not sure if I like it, almost looking to mean for a small truck. Doesn't really suit it. I used to own a 98 step-side back in the day, that was a great truck, but HORRIBLE in the winter.
I like it, always liked the Ranger myself.....

yeah, my mom had an 01 Edge 3.0L ... it was nasty in the snow.. we cut down a tree and moved wood with it, but the wood stayed in for the winter. It was terrible on gas too!! 3.0L auto with 4.10 gears, just to hard on it
That pic is a nice photoshop of the 4-Trac
sorry for the size
front end kinda looks like an escape.
