i just got the ROADYXT - which is XM Satelite radio - and i love it and it is streamline and tiny rather than those bulky units

I'd rather have a DVD full of MP3s of my own music than pay for stuff that still might not be what I want to hear all the time.
Does Sat Radio give the same quality like that of TV Satellite when storms hit? If so, Sat Radio gets my POS award of the year.
There must be some idiot drug in the water of NB. I'd have it checked.

The pair of you.

yup thats the one I got... that's why I went with XM instead of Sirius.

did you mount the antenna outside? cause I actually have mine on my dash and it works just fine with no drop outs.

also a dvd full of mp3s is nice but you don't get sports/talk/comedy and emergency info. Oh and stock quotes if that's your thing :)
Now see, you're telling us stuff that noone else does. Piss on the music, if the investing and other stuff is realtime (or close to it) then it might be worth it as a total package.

As a standalone music source, given the cost, I don't see the value.

It's like cable TV... everyone gets the basic stuff. When you pay for things extra, like premium packs and theme packs, digital and HDTV... half the time you pay for a whack of stuff and only watch several channels.

Just my opinion.
