Is the frame of the 2006 built on the same frame as the Volvo?? I heard the handling in way better then previous focus's....is that true

The underlying guts are the same as the gen 1 Focus, with different engines than the gen 1... and some styling cues have changed. The Gen 2 Focus in the UK / Europe are on the same chassis as the Volvo and Mazda 3. We gots shafted son!
