my color is special color, it is not even listed on color chart if i find it under 2000 ford focus or any year..

but i found it by doing crosschart reference..official name for kona edition is dirt brown metallic, but it is called briarwood metallic..

i doubt napa sell it..

checked paint circuit and etobicoke location is only 7 mins away from my work..
i m going to check wiith them..

it is much easier to fit projecotr into reflector..
and tsx is much easier for mounting..it got 4 holes..
but mine lexus rx only has 2 at bottom..

i got it from the states..they send it real quick.,and price was good too
The NAPA by me and others around will make you a custom spray can. They say for mine its no good because of the pearl in it. I'd have to quick shaking it while spraying but it doesn't hurt to check it out.
I have a number for a place here in Scarborough that will mix anything and put it into a spray bomb. I will add the number here if you like, once I get home.
yes please....

finally fitted and test drove..
i only have done passenger side but i can see light shines better and further with nice clean cut..

overall, i m 50% satisfied..because i shouldn't have bought the lexus projector..due to weird mounting point, it cannot give me an option to do fine tune..cut out line is not horizontal, it is a bit tilted..

now i get why tsx projector is popular..
it got 4 mounting holes..

SO maybe now you see my point.

Truly, I think it's great that you are trying to do it yourself. But you yourself have said you are only 50% satisfied. You spent $350 to get this far. Do the math.

You get what you pay for.
dude, are you on crack??
do youself a calculate

what makes $170+$30=$350??
i already said that headlight was bought long long time ago, so this doesn't count

and even if it does count, $120+$170+$30=$350??
no! $320 is correct answer..

you get what you pay for???hahaha you make me laugh..
then get me mach hid for $320!!

i m not even done with this project, i still got driver side to do..

$320 or $350 whatever. Does that really matter? Your not 100% satisfied with the outcome and spent $320 finding that out.

That was money wasted.

You can pick up used HID OEM for the Focus for @$700. You just have to know where to get these things.
you are the one saying do the math!!
now you are saying $320 and $350 does not mattter??
then get me $30 to me if it is nothing to you

waste what?

the f*** is your problem??f***ing team pita
like i said, get me mach hid for $320

i f***ing paid $200 for pair, not per 1 mr.dumbass

Holy s*** are you not understanding what I am saying?

You are 50% satisfied at the outcome. Your words.

You spent $320 to get 50% satisfied. That's half what you would have spent on the REAL DEAL.

The real deal OEM HID headlights would be $700. Half that is $350, pretty close to $320.

So what you have spent and your satisfaction level are bang on.

And you wasted $320 getting this far.

You are thick as thieves.

yeah i said 50% in my word
so what??
you haven't seen result, i m saying 50% because i only done the passenger side..
who knows after i finish driver side and my satisfaction goes upto 100%??

that is totally dumb way to claculate money based on what i said??
what is so important about numbers??

and you are telling me i wasted $320 to get this far??
no then $160, beacause i only done the passenger side..

if you are going to put your word, do it right..tsk tsk..
Never mind what Meford says. His opinion only matters to him. Most people know to just ignore what he has to say anyways. Bryan is only here to stir the pot anyhow. Just block the PITA. No harm, no foul.

As long as you are satisfied with what you are doing and happy with the outcome that is all taht matters correct? Team Pita's input is worthless anyway. No matter how much you spend and how long it takes, as long as it turns out the way you want you have accomplished what you set out to do.

I think you are doing a great job and I can't wait to see them in person. Next Masiv Monday Meet you need to bring them out. Meford wont be there.
i m not the person buying things already made, everyone can have..

i m doing these thing to get more experienced with and this is good practice..
i don't think i wasted anything, i didn't mess up anything..
i m learning doing things from this, so this ios plus to me..

anyway, here is update..for those who want to see, if not go away..

comparison btw cheap ebay halogen projector vs lexus rx with clear lens..

as you can see, ebay projector looks brighter but it doesn't go further..
when i sit inside, i see almost nothing..
but with lexus, i can see cutout clearly..

there is alignment issue, tilted bit...

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I like
hhhm... you making me want to take mine apart already.
Good job so far.
actually it looks aight, nice not bad.. but. to get to where you are. you would have to buy the following which you didn't include in your costs

cheap-o e-bay headlights x2 = $$$
hid kit x2 = $$$
acura projectors x2 = $$$
plus the time you spent to modifying it, to you its free, but to others, time = $$$
then you have issues such as mounting, clearence, or making mistakes durring retrofitting, and you could easily pick up a set of Mach edition or SVT edition HID's for $450 - $750 Canadian, new or used, im not gonna get into details but some people paid $300 us for new fyi.
do you ever read post before reply??

go read it again and get back to me

i didn't include any price of yoru following list??
i said $120 for ebay s***
and i said hid kit i had from long long before, so this doesn't include anything
lexus projector not acura $200

and what is got to go with "other time" wth is other time?

f***ing retartded this forum becomes..wtd can't u guys read??

GET THE f*** ME MACH HID FOR $300 AND I WILL SHUT THE f*** UP
GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!NOBODY CAN GET ME AND KEEP SAYING IT.
