My focus is not idling right. When I am idling the motor usually revs at 750 rpm and then all of a sudden it will go to 1000 rpm and it will keep on doing this. Anyone had this problem or know what causes this.

It's all normal based on whats running (sound systems, air conditioning or heater, etc.)

Try turning everything off inside the car to see if it'll reach regular idle.

well its cold out and you may have the defrost on which cycles your air conditioning compressor. that will affect your idle
