Fusion takes second behind the almighty accord but takes out the new sonata and camry  Hell has froze over
I'd still take the Toyota over the Ford.
I suppose if you wanna feel 60 years old and wanna drive a the most boring car on 4 wheels with no feedback, poor styling, less power and average gas mileage compared to the rest be my guest.

I know you are not to fond of ford but the fusion is the better car then the camry and ahead of the sonata, the only car better if that is the accord. Id like to see an unbiased review sometime, since car and driver even picked the ridgeline as the best compact pickup, give me a break

I'll wager that the Toyota will still be running when you turn 60.

Laterz :)
well one thing that is not fair to camry is the fact its the old model compared to all the new 2007 models. I bet camry wil get a new model for 2008 that will be back on top of the market again.

Doubt it  Maybe when i turn 40. The way the ford's in our family are going, they will last that long to ;)
The fusion is ugly and cheap.

I took one out for a test-drive last friday at Discovery. I was getting a tire quote when the clown that sold me my nightmar..er..um, car came out and coralled me into one for aboot down to timmies for the guys in the shop.

I felt the car was cheap and half-assed.
The dash and instruments were nice but the doors didn't feel solid and the car felt like a taurus.

The one I was driving had wheelcovers so that cheapened the look even more. That can be fixed so I wasn't too hung up on it.

Over-all.... I think the judges were bought off.

Save you money fells, buy an import, this car will have mny years of issues before they straighten it out. Look how long it took them to get the Focus right....and it;s still not.

I'd rather be a pedestrian at 60 than be in a Toyota at 38. The Camry has "Old Fart" written all over it.

Then again, seeing your ride list I'm sure you'd feel right at home in one.

Nobody cares when they compare a new Cobalt or new Civic to a Focus; fairness is what they have out NOW, not 2 years from now.

That's the focus though, an economy car this is a mid size car that ford is not going to screw up, every car in the last year or 2 has been near flawkless. The 500,freestyle,f150,mustang etc... All near flawless and thier all great vehicles. It was either buy a focus for you guys or some other beater box economy car like a cavalier, civic and i am sure nobody else wants those now do they?

I checked out one yesterday and the car was flawless everything felt great and was very impressed. It was a blue sel v6 loaded to the tits B)

That was my very same first impression.
