I'm excited about the season.

I saw a few pre-season games and the game is much better. If the players can figure out what a penalty is, we will be seeing a nice open game with huge passes and monster hits. The reason I say there will be monster hits, is because of the open ice, these guys are moving a lot faster than they used to.

It's going to be sweet.

However, Ottawa, as much as I hate to say it, is going to be a highlight reel team this year. Have any of you seen the goals Spezza, Heatly, Alfredsson have been scoring??? :blink:

I'm at a crossroads. Do I get the new sports pack Cogeco is offering? Do I just invest the cash in my own equipment and shinny it for a year (again) and do men's league next year?

I'm waiting till next year when HDTV really takes off, and then getting the HD box to go with the new HD projector I'm buying after Christmas.

And as for the sports package???? there's plenty on t.v. you can find. I'm a sports nut, and I have no problem finding enough to watch.

It has to do with the Leafs because I'm not sure if I'm buying into the NHL this year. They f**ked us all over, and now we're expected to take them back whole hog. I've been debating in getting back to organized league stuff, but I know that the Cogeco sports pack has all the Leafs TV stuff as well. Do I pay monthly to watch the Leafs, or do I just go play my own game?
