it was literally nuts here. cars lined up for blocks!! too bad i filled up in the afternoon before "panic" set in!!!

i have pictures of stations last night, but they did turn out too good.
If Quebec has fallen, North Bay isn't far behind. I was driving so slow at lunch today, I was passed by several gas-hogging SUVs.

Anyone up for a hybrid Focus GB? If we petition, we might get one!*

Well time to do the engine swap on the car. That little 2hp lawnmower engine looks pretty fuel efficient... :D
still .97 in Ottawa
just filled up 114.9 for premium at vp and sheppard.
how would a propane conversion feel like in a focus? would it be worth the cost, and how long at current prices would we recoup the investment?
propane conversions run between $3,500 and $4,500 USD, and offer operating costs about 5%-30% less for fleet vehicles.

however, there is a decrease in horsepower and torque... I was chitchatting with a limo driver, and he was quite unhappy that people in crappy little econoboxes can out accelerate his propane powered v8. Ever been cutoff going up on onramp by an echo? I have... and the limo guy said he had it pegged. I'm not sure our little cars could afford the power loss.
I heard on the radio about an hour ago that people are reporting 2.00/L gas at some station in Stratford and that area....

Is this true!??! Anyone here from Stratford!??

It's currently 103.5 on average in Guelph!
WTF? that can't be real, it better not get like that in Hamilton. As someone who commutes everyday i will not be very happy.
I dunno i've heard prices in Chatham are 180 now too...

I thought it was less than that to convert and the government used to give you a credit. But how about turbo on a propane car? is that even possible?

imagine a FI focus running at 10lbs of boost putting out 130hp at the wheels

awesome!
