Welcome to Russia!!! This is facking BS. It was 1.08 yesterday here in Winnipeg, I'm scared to see what happens today. I talked to a guy in Missasauga yesterday and he said it was 1.20.
Very soon we will be calling these prices 'the good ol days'.

That's exactly what there after .. it was only a few months ago that everyone was outragged that gas it $0.90/L .. if it were to hit that now people would rejoice and start filling up 200/L drumbs to save
At work today we were had Regular at 1.059 and Diesel at .949.. at around 1:45 we bumped it up to 1.189 for Regular and 1.019 for Diesel.
It was fun for a while since we were one of the last stations to go up, having lineups for all 12 pumps, people panicking and freaking out about it..
Sounds like a fun day at work....
any ideas what its supposed to go up to tonight?

a million dollars per half litre
I'll post the prices again, when I take the delivery over to our mini store tmorrow, I wouldn't doubt if gas hit $1.309 tonight for regular, although all around Brampton it's currently floating around $1.069 ~ $1.159 a litre.
If it hits $1.30L for more than 3 days in a row I've already told my boss's that it's not worth me to come to work if it's that high at the pump because at that price it's $10 round trip to go to work and come home. And if my sisters is working the same shift, that's $20 a day for me.

Crazy. I wonder what it will be a couple weeks from now when I have to fill up the WRX with 65 litres of 94?
You know gas prices are high when I'm actually, after years of trying, actually showing my bike to a potential buyer tomorrow! Must be the 52mpg?
I'm going locking gascap hunting tonight as well. This is MADNESS.
Apparently there's still no "sign of collusion", but yet most of our crude doesn't come from the States. How's that for a BS parade?
Better yet, Andrew, where DOES most of our crude and resultant gas come from in Ontario? You'd be the guy to ask B)
pump rage is crazy. :o
Okay here's what went down in Mississauga at the Shell station at the corner of Hurontario & Fairview Rd.
September 1/05
9:05am - 1.259/L regular
5:10pm - 1.139/L regular
September 2/05
9:05am - 1.339/L regular
Okay now somebody explain to me how in h-e-double hockey sticks does the price of gas yo-yo like that in the space of 24 hours? If this isn't gouging the consumer I don't know what is <_<
Thank god I filled up at 1.139, still was over $33 for 29.7L
