yeah like a $500 sub will sound like garbage if you put it in the wrong box, incidently your gf will treat you like garbage if you put it in the wrong box too, anyways if he is blowing the subs he needs to check a few things:
1: gains are they set too high??
2: under powered AMP
3: too much bass on the EQ
