Pics request for Silver focus w/ gunmetal wheels
I thinking of painting my wheels gunmetal and finish it with clear coat for a shiny look. I need to see some pics of gunmetal or black wheels on a silver focus.
Thanks.
 hmm............ sounds like a good idea Jaspher, if it looks good when done I'm might think about doing the same to my rims.

I think it looks great but some people dont like dark wheels. Personal preference I guess..
Gulity's car + more drop = sexay! Those rims still look mint imo

that what I want to do. Did you spray clear coat on it? My dad wants me to paint his 16" rims on his Caravan. So I'll probably just do his and mine together. My bro is thinking of doing his 18" A6 too. It would be nice cuz we all have silver cars.

I painted my buddy's rims.

Thanks Raine. Maybe I should explain the picture a little.. that was after installing my front springs but not being able to get the rears done. And then driving home on a gravel road like that (not the best suspension set-up, btw ;))

I used the duplicolor graphite color, then the clear. It's held up really well, the only thing is when I had CanTire repair a tire they scratched some paint off the lip. You just have to make sure you prep the wheels really well, that makes all the difference.

Mitch, you've made some huge improvements to your car for sure.

offtopic: Have you considered getting european or SVT mirrors for your car?
