Hey guys, I am new (was at focus fanatics) so forgive me if I'm not up-to-date with this forum.

My question is:
Could I put anything wider than 205s on my zts (04) or will it cause complications? How about 17"ers? I'm currently on 4 pirelli's 205 16" (stock)....just wondering when I get my new tires how much bigger and wider can I go with my car without running into problems.
I am running 215/35R18's with no problem on my 05. I ordered a set of 19's with 225/30R19 tires and they have been test fitted and there is no rubbing except for when my car is full of people as it's also lowered 2"s all the way around. You shouldn't have any problems plus sizing your wheels and tires. hell i've seen a 01 sedan with 20's and he didn't rub that much. i think 18's are the perfect size for looks and performance on these cars but i am all about big wheels thats the only reason im upgrading to 19's. Like i said the 18's handled awesome and no problems, good luck with whatever you decide.

I had 215 with my 17's. No rubbing issues whatsoever.
thanks,

which 17" - 215s would you recommend? I don't race or anything like that...just good ol' all purpose / all season tires but I would like to have a little something nice.

Also, if i go up to 17" / 215s from my 16" / 205s, does this mean I will also have to get new rims to fit the tires??
