Just wondering who is from Mississauga? Ive seen alot of new members on the board from mississauga. For the longest time it was just Pat Paolo and I.
Perhaps we should set up a mississauga meet.
Used to live there, live in Mimico now.
Don't live there, but there a lot... :)
Lived there from 1975 to 1991.
Mississauga existed in 1975? hell it was there in 1991? O_o lol

I remember when Mayor Hazel McCallion was first elected. She was an old bag of bones back then too. She hasn't changed one bit.
When I moved there, they had just intruduced the Mississauga transit buses with the orange 'M' down the side. (I think it is still the same design)
They had just built Square One Shopping centre in the middle of a farmer's field. There was 'nothing' north of it until you hit Brampton.

She still is an old bag of bones. She would come in to shop at Dominion, and she would always ask me where is the Wrincle-free Face Cream, and Pralines Ice Cream tub.

She's an old bag of bones, but she's a
tough old bag of bones. Get's hit by a truck on a Saturday and goes back to work three days later? That's either tough or she's so old her pain receptors are dead :P

At the risk of being offensive.... that's what my friends and I sometimes call it.
we don't call it that as often, but yes, that aswell.
I think that what we first called it, then someone said Afbramistan, and that seemed to stick.
