My car only came with one transponder key, and a valet key.

Has anyone ever purchased replacement keys, and if so, how much did you pay?

Would a locksmith have replacements?

I will NEVER go to a dealer for anything except recalls, so please don't suggest that.

I cant say Ive had much luck finding them anywhere but ford and Ebay.

it think its around 45 20 for the key 25 to program it, and the dealer is the only place to get them :P

I went to Donway Ford to find out about getting a 3rd key for my Focus they wanted $65.00 for it and this was way back in 2002.

If you only have one key, youre gonna have to buy the key (ebay's your best bet)

get 2... because once there are two active keys you dont have to go to the dealership to program another one.

it will cost about 60.00 for the programming of the second key. it takes roughly half an hour at the dealership.
