there's a bolt that holds on the side view mirrors. I lost mine. Ford doesn't know the part number, and refuses to open up a new mirror just to check the size of a bolt. Can anyone help me out?

I have both sizes i'm not using if you want as my drop mirrors bolt up different than the stockers

try the wreckers.
