Does anyone know a good place to get a HID kit for my focus. I already have projectors and I think HID's would just finish it off.

whats the max amount of Kelvins you can go before you start melting and messing up the stock housing?

Kelvins in the car HID sense is colour temperature and un-related to wattage or bulb temperature. Colour temperature comes from astro-physics and black box radiation.

All HID bulbs regardless of colour temperature run cooler than Halogen or any other incandescent. That is their one draw back in Canada, the lights never get warm enough to melt snow and ice on the lens.
theres a group buy right now on FocusFanatics for HID

If your budget allows nothing beats the real deal, the Ford original equipment HID kit (MACH's).

EDIT: added picture of my MACH's

Thanks for that!

Seeing that low beams are regulated and I have OEM MACH's for the Focus and plan to get OEM USDM STi HID's for the WRX I am covered in an inspection sense for each car.

However as high beam and fogs are not inspected I may swap the fogs (for HID GT Yellow) and high beams (for HID 12,000K) on both cars out for those if they have kits for my bulb sizes. Imagine 3 pairs of HID on each car or more if I add a driving lamp cluster, potentially ten HID's on each!

I figure the equivalent light output for each car would mimic a small star?
