Well, we were all 19 once, and when I was I thought I was in love.

STUPIDSTUPIDSTUPID.

This is a photoshop of what the original looked like. I think I burned all the original pictures, lol. The lesson here: Never EVER get a tattoo with someone's name on it unless they're your kid. The tattoo lasted longer than the marriage.

So when you're single and on the prowl, women tend not to like seeing another woman's name on your arm. So I covered it up.


So 14 years later, I got sick of the "worm with fangs", so I'm getting work done...

STAGE 1 -- The Cover-Up
April 28th, 2009



STAGE 2 -- The Wings
June 5th, 2009








STAGE 3 -- Colour-In
**coming soon scheuled first week of July**

Will update the thread as required, the project is going to take another month or two.

Nice job covering up the original. Can still see the previous one (slightly) but I'm sure stage 2 &3 will get rid of it completely. Who's doing the ink-work for you?

Thanks, the artist assures me that the old one will be unnoticeable after the colouring and shading is done.

The "worm" Was a good cover I think at least to get rid of the name as for the huge Tat Damm you really stepped it up

Yeah, considering the time I was at my life when I got it done, I didn't really want a huge cover so I can't complain about the worm. It did its job of covering up the name which was all I cared about. Actually, before I got the recent work done I was considering leaving the worm as-is and just adding the wings.

Which is the next part of the tattoo, a pair of wings are being added that will sweep up over my shoulder. They will be done in a lighter color like a light grey.

Never happened with the Focus (Or the Fusion when it was stock, stock I would get chatted up by 50 year old males <_<)

They do, but the have to scale them up so they don't look like birthmarks. It might be cheaper just to hire a good house painter.
