I put a real nice dead pedal on the Subaru and now want to take the plain black plastic pedal I removed and stick it on the Focus for no reason other than, what else am I going to do with it.
So if I drill some self tapping metal screws into the floor/firewall where a dead pedal should go am I going to "hit" anything like a wiring loom or screw anything up in general?
I cant see anything being in that area, everything goes directly to the fuse box from the firewall or passing through the door, try using shorter screws just incase. I always wanted a dead pedal. B)

Well then buy one, they can't me more than twenty bucks.
What do you mean by dead pedal?
Its just a place to rest your left foot when you are off the clutch. Here are the stock WRX pedals and my aftermarket dead pedal (far left):
Would rust be a factor Andrew?
Drilling holes through the firwall without treating them might promote corrosion?
Just wondering.
If so, I'm sure a flattened out Tim Horton's cup or pop can would work just as well too.

Fine  , I'll drill it out, prime, lube and then use those plastic pop fasteners things. This is begining to sound like work.
use super glue instead? haha
