What are you allowed? Are you thinking illegal? I have had 20% all around and it was good. I now have 50% front doors, 35% everywhere else. I have heard that some cars factory tint can make the applied legal tint go over when checked by police. I think VW is the worst for it.

Went 35% front, 20% for the rest, and was assured it was completely legal.
Looks sweet, pics tomorrow.

I just wanted to clarify - it's a myth that the tinting limit is "35%" in Ontario.
The law is vague and that is why cops can have a field day with you if they feel in the mood for handing out tickets. Something like you must be identifiable through the side glass (ie: someone from outside must be able to tell how many occupants are in the vehicle.
My tint is DARK.. WAY DARK (10%fr, 5% rear according to the receipt that was in the glovebox when I picked up my car --> FORD had the tint done before I picked up the car brand new.
It's darker than I would have got if I'd got it myself, but it looks good on a black car.
I've never been pulled over for it - and even when I got pulled over 3 times in 42 days for other violations a few years ago, not once did the cops even comment about the tint.
Anyhow - let's see the pics!!!

Pics are being a pain, nothing I took the other day came out worth really speaking of.
Might try another few shots tomorrow, but the car's a tad dirtier now :(
