umm..

just heard about this 'special' saleen modded focus zx3..

apparently with a whopping 150hp...??!?







anyone know anything else about this 'special edition'?

Saleen had a N2O version in the last Focus Fanatic magazine, basically lightweight engine performance improvements and a dry shot of nitrous. There was a raft of handling / braking upgrades, and the obvious body kit install as well, badging etc etc.

Kinda looks like that. I believe they used a Zex kit so it only worked above a certain RPM and at WOT.

I dunno if they were using a dry kit...

I thought for the focus we wanted a wet kit...

With a SOHC engine I thought you wanted a dry kit?

Isn't the new '05 focus a 150HP duratec?

in which case, this car's just spiffier looking.

I like that rear wing..wonder how much it would cost.... hmmmm...

Check ebay...they have plenty of spoilers on there for dirt cheap. But I do believe you are right about the duratec. I think its a 2.3L Duratec.

Nope, it's the 136HP 2.0L Duratec. The only Focus in North America with the 2.3L from the factory is the Focus ZX4 ST (151HP).

Looks good in black...mostly cause you can't see the body kit that well. :lol:
