Guys - I'm working on a new turbo project and am trying to come up with a good routing of the Turbo coolant return line back into the system. I was just looking for opinions on what size return line you may have used, and where you plumbed it in your cars. Please let me know what worked & what didn't so I don't make the same mistake!

Thanks

I was just looking over at the jet about this exact thing...

I found a few posts, this one has photos and seems to be how most have ran their coolan lines...

Coolant Lines
Thanks for the read.

I like the comment about coolant affecting the spool up? What the hell is that guy talking about?

The coolant lines on a turbo are only there to keep the oil from coking after shut down. The turbo needs to be located below the water line of the engine so that after shut down, the heat of the turbo will boil the water and pull fresh water in. The return line is very important for this fact, as you don't want to have any air trapped in the return line, as this pocket would cause the turbo to not be able to pull in fresh water and then the resulting coking would begin. That is why I wanted to know where others have plumbed the lines and the results.

Any one else have info or found something in your searches?

Hey thanks for the offer. Do you know when the next time you'll be in Windsor is? I'd love to check it out to get some ideas.

Thanks
