Got this email from Harv at Power Works. Does give some good info not given on the site.

I'm glad to hear that your planning to purchase our kit.  I'm more then
positive you will not be dissatisfied.

The 220 HP we advertise is at the crank, although we are seeing 208 at the
wheels.  I have been getting a lot of e-mail traffic regarding the fact
that when you calculate in drive train loss, the crank numbers should be
much higher.  We tend to stay towards the conservative side with our
numbers, plus you will get a pretty large variation in testing devices.

As for installation.  Believe me it is nothing like installing a Turbo or
some of our competitors kits.  First, the only thing you will have to
re-locate is the oil filter, and that's a walk in the park.  In our shop
our technicians are putting the kit in about 8 hours.  A weekend mechanic,
probably 12 to as high as 16 hours.  It isn't the installation that takes a
lot of time but the disassembly of a portion of the engine, (rusted on
bolts, etc...) and preparation to mount the kit (cleaning out old empty
bolt holes).  The two most difficult jobs is dropping the blower in place,
which we recommend two people for, (and by following the directions to a
tee it's really easy), and my guys saying that drilling the hole in the
front cross member to mount the intercooler radiator can be rough because
the metal is so tuff to drill through.  (We just say have a couple bits on
hand).  Next to that we have not seen any show stoppers.

One of the first steps in the installation is to remove your ECM and ship
it back in the enclosed overnight express mailbag.  We will then re-flash
it with all new factory code, and with the proper calibrations for the
blower and the EO.  We then ship it back overnight express, the whole
process taking 48 hours.

As for your race header, it's fine.  If anything it will increase the power
that the blower will be producing because the engine will be breathing
better.

the 48hrs round trip for re-flashing of the ECU .. is that for residents of the USA or is the the same for people in canada aswell?

Not sure. We should compile a bunch of questions the I can send him an email or ask Mitch since he will be selling the kit in Canada.

This kit seems pretty dam nice. Who wants to buy some UDP's since they got to be removed and stockers go back on..

well that would depend entirely on what time of day you shipped the ECU out at.
as long as the box is mailed expedited and marketed as "warrenty" or anything that does not imply a sale, it should not get help up in customs or get ding'ed with any brokerage/duties/etc on the trip back.
however, because we are in Canada and most people will probably be installing this kit on their own, expect 3-4days to a major center and anything less is just gravy! if you can make a little trip across the board to ship it, that would probably speed up the process!
if you are going to do the work over a weekend, pull the ECU on a thursday and expect it back monday!
the install should not take more than 12 hours however that is if you are actually working for 12hours.
most DIY's i know work at about a 60/40 mix of drinking&chatting to work ratio! so longer install times should be expected! ;)

any kits i sell will include free shipping.
i am able to discount kits but according the the dealer/distributor agreement, there is a cap on the amount of discount and the number of units i can discount!

however because Powerworks is letting me run with the Canadian market, i MAY be able to set the Canadian retail slightly lower if i refuse sales at the cnd retail to any buyers outside Canada.
