anybody got one and what is ur opinion?
Doesnt matter if they have one or not... The stock cat is a HUGE bottleneck in the exaust system.
I had a highflow under my JBA shorty it was far too loud. If I did it again I would do the SVT header + factory cat same gains less noise.
If your going to buy one, you only have two 'real' choices, the Focus Central one or the RT (Randon Technologies) one.
I just bought the RT cat. Looks all shiny out of the box. Can't tell you what difference it makes, just yet. Everything goes on in the winter.
How much it cost you?
$410.75 delivered.....Can$$
I just got a magnaflow highflow cat for my civic.... 70 bucks.
Itll cost me 50bucks more to get it welded with the flanges and some pipe.

I dont see a need to buy premade cat systems except if you just want to get it, bolt it on and forget it.
Meh to Cats. FS 4-1 race and flex will be here this week :D
Well some of us have to have them to pass a funny thing we call the emission test. Enjoy the noise of your very loud 4-1 with flex. you won't enjoy the highway driving.

Earplugs will be a must.
i passed BC's emmissions test without a cat....??
Well la ti friggin da...............I am not in BC and they physically look for one in Ontario............NO CAT NO PASS>>>>>>>>>>

When the car was shipped to us from BC, it passed the BC test, but failed Ontario emission testing.

Thats what I thought to but yup,I changed my mind. I rather do more of a stealth approach. I will be doing the Power Works s/c that Cosworth just released then the plan is to get it tuned/tweaked when I go down to BC this summer. The future plan is custom chip, cams, cam gears and ODP depending how money flow is.

That powerworks looks great.. but $$$
http://www.powerworks.com

Mitch is a power works distributor. Kit is based on eaton s/c and can easily obtain some serious #'s.
http://www.powerworks.com goes to some solar power, or wind machine company...weird
