Hey guys,

I'm trying to find the brand of my mounting kit. It's the two piece install kit, if ya know what I mean.

I searched for pics of the Scosche and Metra kits, but they both look the same.

A buddy of mine is installing a deck in his car, and wants to get one like mine, because my old one would rub on my faceplate.

I'm looking for the kit that doesn't look like this one:

My mounting kit is called MY WIFE

metras new kit has changed. it should not rub. its more liek the AI kit now.

I have the kit from that picture. its not very good. Just waiting to paint my interior to mount the sony kit. :D

My mounting kit sucks. I got it from soundoamin.com and the thing rubs/sticks when I go to bring out the screen..

Hey Thabrat, I had the same problem, try the AI kit, doesn't rub now.

liek i said before the new version on the metra kit is quite similar to the AI.

where do you guys get all of those.. do they just have plain simple kits at canadian tires for example? anyone got suggestions for where to get em?

I have the second one, and it works just fine with my alpine headunit. :)

i also had the second one with an alpine HU.

AI at canadian tire for fords is no good.. the focus isn't listed either..

guess i will order the Scosche

you guys with the second one.. can you not just put it upside down for the tray? over or under?..

how do you guys have it..

so the first one is just a &quot;filing tray&quot; while the other one goes all around the cd player instead of the included clipon thing.. do you use it
