Way more bling that I'm into.. I really dont like the look of the scissor doors or the clear hood.. yikes.
Is that clear hood just for show ?

That engine has a extensive list of mods under the hood. Perfect way to show off your mods and clean engine bay with a clear hood...

I love how we're going to go back to the fight about what's different and what's not.
different is anything that doesn't add performance to your car... that car has bundles of it from overweight rims, to lambo doors.. hell the whole car looks like it's a lambo wannabe with the red exterior and white interior.
Clear hoods are just for show, I haven't seen one that can stand the heat of actually driving (that and they scrath way too easily).
So I would say, yeah, that car is riced right the dam out. But so what? even if it's not my thing, it looks pretty cool.... very showy...
face it, we all have chunks of the Uncle Bens on all our cars.. different is typically a lot cheaper than real go parts... just be happy with your car.

RICE at its finest. Alot of work was put into the car. Just a totally different direction that I would take.

Lambo doors look stupid, and akward
you all need to stop confusing RICE with what YOU do not like. Calling stuff that isn't your cup of tea rice is fairly narrow minded of all of you. Some people don't want 10000 hp in a tiny focus, some would rather concentrate on show. And who is to say from just one photo that, that focus there couldn't blow the doors off most of you guys anyway? Jason said it had quite a few mods done to it, so now what? What is to say that GO is soooo much freaking better than SHOW? Just cause YOU think Go is a better route why demean other people? It's stupid.
It's a nice car with lots invested into it. More than 90% of you guys would be willing to invest into our cars so respect the guy for what he did. None of it is severely tacky, no giant wing or stupid sh1t. lambo doors? So what? we could say the same for body kits. Some like em, some don't. Everyone is entitled to a "yes I like it" or "No I don't" but throwing the term Rice around is getting out of hand.
I just wish people would learn not to use the term "rice" as a substitute for "I don't like it".
It's an American car trying to look both Japanese and Italian at the same time not to mention the fact it is more than a little ghey looking.
I shall call it:

Respect is given, the car is a looker thats for sure!
To me rice is adding something to the car that is on the extreme side of things and not necessary. For me I would rather have the sleeper look and be fast yet very smooth looking.
So to ME the car is rice. I look at it and see all the added weight for no reason. To others it may look classy. It's all matter of personal opinion.
For MY taste it is rice. Mind you it is done nicely. You can tell that alot of time, money, and sweat has gone into the car. That is why this car gets respect.

Im going to so get scissor doors now. Its making me mad how most ppl are starting to be. I dont even want scissor door anymore becuase I think they look cool I want them now just becuase of the fact so many ppl hate them now lol.
One of the nicest focus's ever has them, the "Motech" focus and you cant call that car RICE... Its even being featured in Max Power. But its true. That focus posted above would most likely beat alot of ours focus's.
I think every one abuses the word rice. I dont even like saying it anymore becuase of the fact its used everytime somebody doesnt like soemthing. I dont like that wing, its rice... I dont like those rims, thats rice.... WTF?????

Some things are timeless and others are fads. A few years from now everyone of those people, who don't already, will look at things like clear doors & scissor hoods won't be saying "sick" or "stoked" anymore, they'll be saying

I thought RICE was because of the asian way to hook up or dress up a car..like huge whale tails....wiiiide body kits..10 inch chrome mufflers....fully colored painted inside....so..ppl, I dont know if that one is ricey or just a big mouth( and ugly) body kit with pimpin chrome ugly wheels and a well done job on the lambo doors, or its just that I dont like some parts, :ph34r: cause they dont get along with the lines of the focus..???? :(
I love the lambo doors. I want to put them in my Focus. I don't see it as rice. Putting SVT badges on a regular zx3 is rice but Rich putting a SVT bumper on his 4 dr I didn't think was rice. It's all opinion and that is mine. B)
