:( blown your catalytic converter....

I purchased a shorty header a few months ago and now my acceleration sounds something like this....ptththhhfffffffffff . Is this what a blown cat sounds like anyone else done this???if so does gutting the cat work as a solution should I just knock out the baffles inside or what???

Time for a RT Highflow cat or ORP Jarrod. I know what your talking about, read tons on this. Some people have gutted the cat but to do it right, get an ORP or a highflow cat. Random Technolgies (RT) and Focus Central make them.

Hit it with a hammer... see if pieces move around.
