So im going to be dropping my SVTF finally and doing all the suspension work at once (hopefully lol). On Demand5 tells me i need to drop the sub frame in order to get at my front sway bar, my question is has anyone else done this without dropping the sub frame? ill have pretty much the entire front end out, include LCAs, which im assuming will give me enough room? any info would be a great help!

My mechanic switched the front sway bar on my 07 wagon by just loosening the subframe .. and by the language he used and his statement about never doing it again, it was probably a real bitch ... but he did it.
Having said that, he also changed the struts, springs etc at the same time so in any event I was getting an alignment done ... not sure if this helps or not.
You'll have to lower the subframe. Luckily, I had a skinny friend whom worked on that while I worked on the rear. I did the same as ken, all suspension all at once. Never wanted to pay for another alignment after I did all this.
all great points boys, CFM had to order the front sway bar from H&R so ill have it in about 2 weeks. Im also wondering what end links you guys used? I just bought some MOOG LCA's and they seem pretty solid, so i was going to get some links fro them as well, any thoughts?

I like the Moog endlinks.
MOOG are the same if not better than OEM replacements. I sold MOOG parts for years and never had any come back. Not sure if they still do, but they used to have a lifetime warranty.
A new pair of Moogs are going on my car tonight... I finally broke my first Moog in 2 years last week, and it was only the theads coming off the one end of the link.
looks like MOOG FTW, thanks for your input boys
