Just getting a little worried after last week's incident, since it's Friday now and there was no sign of this thread yet, I figured I'd better act.
For those that don't know...
Tim Horton's/Staples parking lot at Dixie Rd & Aimco Blvd in Mississauga.
Just south of the 401 on Dixie.
7PM start. Usually till 11ish.
I'll be there. Anyone else?
Hahaha oops. Thanks man. Things have been very busy at home and at work. I will be there.
thats funny i could've sworn it was october 18th
I think thats what he means lol. I should be there after work sometime if its not to late. October 18th would be the correct date, I guess some of us are not amped up for winter yet lol
I'll be there. And I will send a reminder on the BB Board
Changed the thread title just to tidy it up.
I'll try and make it, been nuts at work 'cause we're now down a lawyer :S
NefCanuck
Haha my bad. Yes, October 18th. And yes, I hope winter takes its sweet time coming this year.
Meet is tomorrow night. Come on guys, we are running out of weather.
ill be there.....2 focus strong
I may not make it tonight. My water pump calfed on my this morning. The pully is sitting crooked and making a hell of a lot of noise. I think I am going to wait around here at work until traffic eases up then make a quick jet to home and rip her all apart again. Just my luck, FML.
Dam it Kev, do you own any black cats by chance????
If you need help let me know and I'll pop over. oor just make it to the meet and we can all tear it down and build it back up lol.
Let me check the car and see if I have the required tools, I am not sure if it will make it all the way home. The pully is right crooked. It funny, the noise it is making sounds like Tony's Car. We may need to do it at Dixie and Aimco.
And yes, we have a black cat. I am going to kick it if I ever make it home. LOL
Thanks to everyone who helped out last night. Especially John and the Parts Guy and Tow Vehicle driver. His poor little Focus didn't see that coming. LOL. I did get stranded on the side of the 401 when the water pump finally blew up.
I ripped her all apart right there in the parking lot of Dixie & Aimco. Word to the wise, if you are wondering how to remove the water pump with the engine still in the vehicle you need to remove the 4 AC compressor bolts to gain enough space to pull it between the frame and block.
Thanks again to everyone who helpped out. You got me out of a tight spot.
No problem kev. I'm amazed at how that lil thing hummed along while pulling you off the 401 and up the hill at Dixie and then proceeded to want to go faster too. Gotta Love it.
He are 2 pics that I took. We were a lil busy to take the usual ones lol.
How many FC members does it take to change a water pump? LOL
On a side note, if anybody cares. To replace a Zetec water pump you need to remove tha AC compressor.
Yeah John, you did get us moving pretty good. But you did forget that I didn't have power steering or any brakes to speak of. And for that I could have used stronger arms and legs.
