im thinking of buying this oil pressure gauge:

do i have to buy the sending unit or is there a wire i can tap into on the stock wiring harness to make this work???

According to the Instructions (here) the sending unit is supplied with the gauge. So to be precise "no" and "no."

i got an autometer full sweep oil pressure gauge and it was the easiest thing to hook up.....take the stock sensor out put that sensor in and in my case pluged the suppled wiring harnedd in and i was done took about 15 minutes...du to routing the wiries through the firewall and in the gauge pod
