It's a really fun tranny compared to USDM STi style (driven both) but for commuting it's sucks.
I'd go with '06 year for DD.
'07 for better mpg and 1/4 mile runs

That's not bad considering that I cover about the same distance with 45 liters . And my engine puts out at least 50 hp less than yours .

little more than 50hp difference, car is probably 350 horspeower, considering its putting out 290 at the wheels.
