take your pick. just make sure you get one with enough workable time to be able to set and align the quarter
there is 2 types.
epoxy based and urethane based. which would u recommend?

hold the phone - let's do that together if possible. Just a couple days ago I was teetering on the edge of seeing about making one myself (have never used the tools to do it... gotta start somewhere right?)
my underbody shield broke off last winter and I have yet to do anything about it. I think some people made their own on FJ Imma go post there. Possible to make it double as a front air splitter?
well, i gotta finish bodywork and engine first..
but i will let you know when i am about to make underbody.
dont laugh, i actually used duct tape!
i just wanted to see how quarter panels look..
need to cut gas door hole bit larger.
this is how rear sticks out, wheels are at 25mm offset and still need another 1"(25.4mm) spacer.
on stock springs minus engine.
suspension replacement coming soon
and i might b able to get fuel pump, engine and other goodies done by end of january.
epoxy based all the way. get a quick set time. and when you do it have a buddy or 2 help. so you can apply it and put on th quarter and ave a few hold it in place for a few min till it sets up. quicker set time means less chance of it moving on you but also means you have less time to get it up and on lol
but the problem is the weather..
i dont think even quick set time will be that quick..
i was thinking put tapping screw fiberglass panel onto metal strip and fill holes later.
if you have electricity down there a heat gun will help alot
few more..
gotta cut some metal to put lights.
because of that metal,
hard to see but exhaust pipe.
needs a lot more work to make fit nicely.
just sitting there for now
hard to get it done when there is no access to power..but getting there slowly.
after swearing and cursing why bolt doesnt come off when we snapped 2 of 15mm sockets.
THEN FOUND THIS TADA~~~
THANK YOU SANTA!!!!!!!!!santa came down underground and installed this for me!, HOPE HE SURE IS A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN
RIGHT NEXT TO MY PARKING SPACE!!looked everywhere and this was the only one.
You were visited by Electritian Clause!!! Nice. Ether that or the Super wants to see you finish. Now all you need is an air line and you'll be ready to install a bench at the front of you spot.
^^^^^^ i wish!!
or time to look for tiny falling apart house but nice garage?
15mm socket #1 "snap"
15mm socket #2 "snap"
Johnathan" i wish i could get my air compessor down here we'd have these bolts out in no time"
leo" ya but we NEED a plug"
johnathan *goes for walk* "holy sh*t santa came and gave us a plug"
leo
so how long have you been working in that parking spot and never noticed that plug? keep up the good work, i enjoy the daily updates
i am using that parking spot since august last year.
it is hard to miss..
Lmfao... That's a great!!! Now get to work lol
even though i got lots of time until end of this week, i have some other things to take care of..
i might be able to glue metal strips, finish suspension(front) and mount rear bumper.
no picture but bad news.
i need to get used knuckles/hubs.
couldnt remove pinch bolt holding ball joint into knuckles.
looked ebay for used knuckles and price was ridiculously expensive..
not sure if svt will fit on regular focus
checked and svt and regular focus is not interchangeable...sux..
