To be clear Leo, the svt knuckle
is interchangeable so long as you also change the hub, rotor/pad, and caliper; in which case it is a direct bolt on.
If you could find here or at a wrecker a complete knuckle and hub from a 2005-2011 car you could relatively easily built your own "rally" kit with rebuilt calipers and new rotors / pads ... with the only other thing you'd need is possibly bearings.
Having said that ... as we talked about in PMs, probably less expensive to simply buy the FRPP Rally kit, if they have any left.
i thought rally front kit is using early 2005 knuckles which have same hole for strut.
2006+ has larger hole, requires massive omni kit to fit 00~04 strut.
I threw the stock 2000 SE knuckles in my car and I'll be in GTA all week. One thing though... didn't find any hardware on them. If you want, free. If you don't, no problem either.

Unless I seriously missed something, here's my understanding.
The early, early 2005 had the same suspension as 2000-2004, but just for a couple of months. That's what they mean by 2000-2005 - it's a bit misleading. The vast majority of 2005 models had the new suspension.
But no ... the front rally kit (M-2300-ZXR) uses the knuckles from the later 2005+ suspension; in fact, that's what it is essentially - a kit to put the stock 2005+ brakes on a 00-04 model. No suspension modifications are required.
And the reason the SVT front brake kit for the 2005+ (M-2300-SVTF5) is so much less expensive than for 00-04, is because it uses the stock 2005+ knuckles and are therefore not included in the kit.
I've never heard of anyone putting SVT brakes on a 00-04 having any problem fitting the knuckle to any 00-04 suspension.
The conclusion: SVT / 2005+ knuckles are interchangeable and will fit 00-11 models.
the hole for strut is different from 00~04(early 05 used same 00~04 knuckles) and 05+.
any knuckles from 05+ has larger hole, in order to use 00~04 suspension on 05+ focus, they used massive omni kit which is basically to reduce size of hole.
so frpp didnt use 05+ knuckles for rally brake kit. they clearly used early 05 knuckles. so it is depends on built date.
when i said interchangeable, that meant..not require any additional parts to be replaced.
i didnt say anything that i cannot fit any svt front knuckle but caliper bracket hole is different, i cannot just buy svt knuckles and put caliper/caliper brackets from 00~04 regular focus without modification.
if it is exact same knuckles, then why didnt they only put calipers, caliper brackets, rotors and pads only like what frpp put svt conversion kit to 05+?
svt kit for 05+ focus, it only replaces caliper, caliper brackets, rotors and pads.
so conclusion is svt knuckles are not interchangeable to 05+ because they keep their 05+knuckles.
to use on 00~04, everything needs to be replaced.

difference is, he has a nice heated garage and i have a cold parking lot.
waiting on lots of parts that i ordered, i still need to order rear o2 sensor, aem wideband sensor and clutch.
hope i can get front brake kit soon, car is missing front driver side knuckles and sitting on axle jack stand.
I have SVT front knuckles, hubs(needs new bearings) but I also have pads, rotors, and calipers from my 05 and they'll bolt right up to the SVT spindles.
So if in the future you want the SVT brake kit it would be a lot cheaper to buy.
got bored and done some photoshop
looks good Leo keep up the good work.

i m soooo pissed..
huh??
ah~~these are candies for my eyes
new fuel pump
FS werks oil cooler?
lol oil cooler itself is made in canada ! I thought that was funny when I got mine.
I had issues with my oil cooler, don't use teflon tape, but use an appropriate loctite thread sealant. Teflon tape always seemed to leak for me, not enough to put drops on the driveway but it was always oily around those fittings. Which annoyed me until I switched to thread sealant.
oh yeah??where can i get it?
can i use that on turbocharger?
