i think yours looks better leo.......that guy should have kept the RS as an RS....
thanks for the gasoline shower leo...
.....quarter tank left in there my a$$...lol
if you remember tomorrow take some pics of the fuel pumps...big difference in design....
hope that much of gasoline sterilized your a$$, LOL
Looks amazing Leo! Coming along nicely! Great build
early failed 2000 fuel pump on left, revised pump on right.
revised pump has separate pick up screen.
this is the bracket i need to break off
ford forgot to include blue clip that secure hard line from pump to filter..instruction says it is included but wasn't there.
yeah that clip doesn't come separate of the pump.....luckily i found one in the shop....your builds back on track
you can really see the difference in those designs...there seems to be 2 pick ups on the new one and it hangs in the tank...where as the failed one has that bracket....hmmm i wonder how that bracket is held on?glue??...
the black thing is retaining clip, it just plastic welded. broke that off and whole bracket came off.
Lookin real good there Leo. Keep it up man. That finish line is getting closer and closer.
hmm i like the rs with mostly white.....the black back end on the last pics doesnt look right to me....all white rs or nothing i say!!!
spoiler will stay black no matter what.
Show me dat black ass! leave out the huge RS logo's
My 2 cents/vote
I like the castol version design of were the colour changes. The RS I think the logo is too much, maybe just the outline of the RS with no fill.
It's looking good leo keep it up.
I'd suggest keeping it all WHITE!!!
Maybe with some blue pearl (RS royal blue colour)
And then maybe have the WRC and RS "decals" ghost painted on so it gives a subtle WRC flavor, instead of "heat score" look with the bright decals
Just my .02
And I think it would give it more of a show car look, rather than a WRC replica look
