Gotta be kidding me!1 side of e brake cable is seized up and not getting any good response but telling me what do you want from me? Thanks! You should at least say "sorry I didn't realize"
I had that happen when I had my neon.Sorry about your luck
I also just took 1 of mine apart and cleaned it all up cause it was sticking bad... At least you can take care of it now and not when it is on the car.
I hoped it is just sticking, it is seized. it is like a 1 piece..
I am researching to see if any hatchback with rear disc setup is compatible. If not, I saw some st 170 cable on Ebay UK.
If you can't get the cable working Leo, I have mine I bought still... I'm not sure if it's in 100% working order either, but it came right off a working car so I'm assuming so
thanks, i heard same from the seller, he said it worked fine but i just believe that he didn't realize it because his car is auto. the car doesn't need extra grab when parked.
looks like this cable got seized at least there for 6 months.
i have left over evapo-rust from canadian tire, i put seized side in container and hope this thing dissolves rust inside of cable insulation and free the cable.

I probably shouldn't get involved but if you're desperate Leo I can get you a complete set of Dorman cables, front and 2 rears for Saturday for 50 + HST. It would need to be ordered today.
Let me know if you want my old one... I can ship it out tomorrow and would be there in the same amount of time it took for the gauge pod to get there

pm-ing you now
what do you think this is?
every time i work on my virgin never been touched 2000 focus, she gives me a hard time. my old kona(from california) never had this problem.
so i ended up cut this mount in half to take out.
my ingersoll impact gun couldn't take this off and breaker bar in tubular pipe broke bolt head off.
now i gotta find proper bolt for this mount.
Thats Ontario SALT... 12 years of it hurts any car.
Looks like a Catch can of some sort you modified from a Water bottle
it is windshield washer bottle.
stock one cannot fit, i mean it fits but looks ugly, i was looking for alloy tank, so i can modify it.
but then i found this bottle that i haven't used for a while, i drilled hole there and wrap teflon tape to make sure there will be no leak.
then used left over panel adhesive tosecure pump.
i will grab some video, you will love it lol
hows this?
click and watch
brake bleeding is done, slave cylinder is replaced.
made a mistake by pumping clutch pedal and pulled pilot bearing too far out but managed to push back in.
engine will go in tomorrow.
Hells ya!! moving along nicely.
wow engine bay looks nice white...probably wont stay white long....but its lookin good...keep it up, it should be on the road soon.....
