Top speed is very unreliable lately. Taking forever for parts, not finishing jobs or coming out with products they said they would.
At the end of the day, the fswerks kit will make as much power as a top speed kit will. Its the accessories that change things like intake manifolds, cams and head work to complement your set up and change your power band.
You would not believe how low my car is, it is fenders make my car is only lowered like 2.5"..
if you compare stock fenders and mine, you will know what I mean.

Nope, I contacted Vik at Fswerks. He told me that I can keep same turbo piping AND with stronger internals and considering pushing limit of gt2871r, my turbo kit is good for 350whp range.

AGREED.
And I think their products are top notch but incomplete.
I am looking at their IM and I need to purchase lot of others seperately and especially a stock SVT lower intake manifold flange..
Painted using a sponge.

This was the first thing that came to my mind before I opened this thread.
Saw this car on the road a while ago, any updates on this?
Don't' get excited. My engine got seized. This build thread is done.
Long story LONG(?)...
I had bogging issue only if I wanted to go under boost, I thought air filter is soaked and dirty. Cleaned and same thing. Looked at spark plugs and found out a spark plug on cyl#4 has crack on ceramic insulator.
Tried my best to vac out broken pieces, changed all 4 spark plugs and car went under boost perfect.
Few days later, I started to hear valves clicking and "oil pressure warning light" came on.
The next day, car stalled when engine temp went normal, cranked again and popped a fuse to battery.
All I can think is small broken pieces stuck in between piston rings and blocked oil passage. Then piston #4 got seized and when starter motor tries to crank, it pulled too much current and popped main fuse.
I bought a new 2014 Hyundai Tucson Kona Bronze.
I am not selling my focus but FSWERKS Turbo. When I open my garage, I am converting this focus to a barely legal street car or a track car with 500whp. Until then, this thread is done.
Sad news, I cannot see how any bits left could cause that. But you will find out when you tear it down one day...
3 years into the build, if not more including the Kona. Endless amount of time, sweat and money to park it and buy of all things a Tucson? I know I don't comment much anymore. But I have always followed this thread with great interest.
Sad to see indeed. Let's hope she will rise again. I miss my focus dearly.
